Massachusetts and Vermont are the almost-as-sober runners-up with 1.6 each per round. Meanwhile, the sippin' scale hits the middle ground in states like Minnesota, Georgia, and California, each boasting a respectable 3.5 beers per round.

But hold on, you might wonder about our region. Well, New York comes in with a decent 1.9 beers (let's call it 2) per round, proving they've got a knack for a relaxed swing and sip. Now, golfers in Pennsylvania sure know how to enjoy their time on the course, racking up a solid 4.2 beers per round, easily snagging a top 5 spot alongside golfers from Nevada and Missouri. As for us Jersey golfers, we're cruising right around the middle with a respectable 3.8 beers per round. It's a pretty solid showing!

So who takes the crown for the booziest golfers? It's none other than the sunshine-soaked land of FLORIDA, where the average golfer boasts an ample 4.8 beers per 18 holes. (I'm placing bets that it's a mix of vacation vibes and, well, just being Florida.)

Texas slides in next at 4.6, followed by North Carolina and New Mexico at 4.3. And rounding out the top 5, we've got Pennsylvania, Nevada, and Missouri tipping the beer scales at 4.2 per round.
