Get Your New Best Friend In Toms River With The Humane Society

That big lump of love up there is Sydney (and a much younger me).

I got Sydney from a Humane Society shelter when she was about a 6-year-old adult, and she quickly became my best friend and sidekick in life (as if you couldn't tell by that photo).

While Syd passed 4 years ago, she really made me an enthusiastic advocate of adopting adult pets.

That's why I'm really looking forward to joining the Associated Humane Society Tinton Falls and Lester Glenn Subaru in Toms River tomorrow (Saturday, October 26th) for their Subaru Loves Pets day.

I spoke with the Humane Society's Veronica Ehrenspeck, who told me all about Lester Glenn Subaru's Howl-O-Ween event tomorrow from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Veronica said that they'll not only of course have dogs and cats available for adoption, but that Lester Glenn Subaru will also donate $50 to the shelter for each test drive and they'll cover the adoption fees, too.

So, if you've been thinking about adding a new member to your family, thinking about test driving a Subaru, or both, then tomorrow's event is perfect for you.
