The movie that will most likely be the biggest of the year, maybe even the decade, is only a week away. In the marketing blitz leading up to the opening of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens", we've seen everything from the usual action figures to a bit more odd goodies. But this is one that is worth checking out, and won't cost you a penny.

If you're not familiar with Google Cardboard, it's very cool.

On the outside, it's pretty much what it sounds like - a cardboard box. But when you put your smartphone inside of it, it becomes something much cooler - a virtual reality viewer in the palm of your hand.

Think of it like the View-Master of the 21st Century.

So what does this have to do with Star Wars? Well, for a limited time, Google is giving away Google Cardboard viewers in four styles - the classic R2-D2 and Stormtrooper designs. Plus new villain Kylo Ren, and adorable new droid BB-8.

The fine print is "while supplies last", but if you click over and find "Sold Out" on the page, I actually had some luck by refreshing the page a couple of times. Some of the styles were out of stock, but I was able to get one in the Stormtrooper style.

Hey, for free, it's worth a shot!
