Evesham child pornography suspect arrested
Allegations of actively downloading and uploading child pornography results in criminal charges against an Evesham man.
Christian D. Maher-Schultze, 23, was charged Friday with second- and third-degree counts of endangering the welfare of children, according to the office of Burliington County Prosecutor Robert D. Bernardi.
Maher-Schultze's bail was set at $75,000, full, in advance of today's initial court appearance.
Investigators contend that Maher-Schultze used his personal e-mail account to trade degrading images with others, adding that many of the graphic images displayed men in sex acts with girls who hadn't yet reached puberty.
Burlington County investigators led the probe, in collaboration with Evesham police and New Jersey State Police.
