Investigators are looking into who killed a man and his dog on Saturday morning at the Olympus Apartments on Baker Boulevard in Evesham Township.
The death of the man is being ruled as suspicious in nature and a person of interest in connection to the incident is in custody, according to a joint statement from Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Evesham Township Acting Chief of Police Walter Miller.
Evesham Police responded to the apartment complex at 9:13 am for a report of a possible dog attack on a resident of the complex.

As police were investigating the crime scene, they noticed signs of a struggle in the residence.
They were then able to identify a person of interest in the investigation, who remains in custody.
Prosecutor Coffina said there does not appear to be any danger to the public in connection with this incident.
The Burlington County Prosecutor's Office and Evesham Police are withholding the identity of the victim, pending notification of next of kin.
