Through their preliminary investigation, police have learned that Joseph Seif III, 46, of Galloway was a driving eastbound on the Black Horse Pike near Elmwood Avenue on a 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle when he suddenly drifted off the road "for an unknown reason" and then struck a curb, leading to him losing control of his bike.

Police said that after Seif lost control of his motorcycle, it overturned several times before coming to a complete stop on the grass median.

Seif was then brought to AtlantiCare Medical Center in Atlantic City and it was there that he was pronounced dead from his injuries.

This crash is being investigated by Sergeant Larry Graham and Officer Ed Stearns of the Egg Harbor Township Police Department Traffic Safety Unit.
