Dognapped Puppy Returns, Lakewood Burglary Still Under Investigation

The seven-month-old pit bull puppy that disappeared in the midst of a Lakewood house burglary last week is back home...but the thief who cleaned out the house is still at large.

According to township police, Finley was returned in good health Saturday, wearing a leash and collar that the owner didn't provide.

The owner heard Finley barking at the gateway of the East County Line Road home in early afternoon, police said.

The house was ransacked while the mom of the house was dropping her children off at school.
