We told you about Wawa testing a drive-thru at their newest location, and now it looks like Taco Bell wants to get in on the action. Chris Rollins from our sister station 94.5 WPST shared that the restaurant is working on a new concept called "Go Mobile" that would have 2 drive-thru lanes, with a smaller eat-in area.

Delish.com originally broke the news, also stating that the restaurant wants to focus more on ordering ahead with their app - so one of the drive-thru lanes will only be for app orders. The article says that curbside pickup will be available as well.

How do you feel about this idea? I personally love it. I've noticed that drive-thrus definitely have gotten more crowded since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, so an added lane will hopefully speed things up. Also, I have been ordering ahead online at places more often, and find it's not only safer, but a lot more efficient than waiting in line and ordering, and waiting for my food to be ready. I think it's smart for Taco Bell to hop on this trend.

While there are no official announced locations for Taco Bell's Go Mobile restaurants yet, Delish says they'll start opening in a few months. Would you like to see these Taco Bell Go Mobile restaurants at the Jersey Shore?
