Do You Enjoy Seasonal Coffee at the Holidays?

If you listen to our morning show, then you know my love of coffee. If you really listen closely, which I know you do, you know I drink my coffee black no sugar.....coffee in it’s purest form. My Uncle owned a coffee company years ago in Chatham, New Jersey and I wish I was older when he was in business lol but like most young children I didn’t have a taste for coffee lol. So with all this being said, let’s discuss the topic of “seasonal coffee”

Here in fall/winter certain flavors are more popular. I prefer non-flavored coffee as my go-to, but I do occasionally like a flavored type. According to Joe’s Coffee Garage they point out flavors like pumpkin spice, eggnog, peppermint, peppermint mocha, spice varieties, gingerbread and sugar cookie as some of the most popular for this time of year.

I will be honest I tried Walmart’s “butter cookie” and it’s good. Their “peppermint bark” is also tasty. “Pumpkin Spice” is not my favorite but I know it’s one of the most popular. April loves “pumpkin spice”. We only use a Keurig  single cup brewer, with it just April & I it makes more sense and saves coffee by brewing individual cups. We keep a selection of flavored coffee cups at home and it changes by season, but it’s a nice variety to have on hand. Green Mountain makes a “maple pecan” k-cup that is very good.

I do have a French Press, but I only use that if I buy beans and then grind them myself. I will do another blog all about the “French Press” and do a video for you.
