I've always been a little perplexed by foot fashion. I'm not quite sure when sneakers became status symbols, but I remember when I was a kid, Reebok Pumps were the must have shoes. UPDATE: After a flurry of media attention today, Adidas has announced that they will be pulling plans to release the "JS Roundhouse Mids" to the market.

Their "JS Roundhouse Mids", which are due in August, feature orange plastic cuffs that resemble shackles worn by prisoners, and worse, some even feel that it suggests images of slavery.
