The Cadbury Creme Egg is an iconic early-year treat. As the calendar gets closer to Easter, the creamy treat will start showing up on shelves. But, apparently Cadbury is messing with the recipe and people are noticing.

In their native England, Cadbury has changed the chocolate that the Creme Eggs are made out of. From their popular "Dairy Milk" chocolate, to "a standard, traditional Cadbury milk chocolate"

In addition, they're also getting a little stingier this year, the UK packages now contain only 5 eggs instead of the traditional half dozen.

Big companies have learned before that messing with an iconic recipe can encourage a huge backlash, so it will be interesting to see how Cadbury UK handles the Great Egg Outcry of 2015.
