Police in Burlington County's Delran Township seek the public's help solving a car looting at the Goddard School on Delran Road Monday around 5:20 pm.

Investigators say it was the passenger in the car next to the victim's unlocked car who used them going in to pick up their kid as a good time to steal a laptop and purse.

The driver of the car next to the victim's car reportedly stayed put.

Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call Detective Irons at 856-461-4498 extension 149 or the crime tip line at 856-461-9010.

"We would also like to remind everyone to lock your car doors, keep any valuables in your vehicles out of sight and report any suspicious activity to the police immediately by calling 856-461-4444," Delran Police said on Facebook.
