In a recent Patch article, the towns receiving funds to crack down on distracted drivers was released. The money comes from the new New Jersey Program “UDrive. UText. UPay” campaign.

According to the New Jersey Department of Traffic Safety …. Beginning April 1 and running through April 21, Police will target motorists who engage in dangerous distracted-driving behaviors, such as talking on hand-held cell phones and sending text messages while driving.

Below are the towns involved here in Ocean & Monmouth Counties.
