Coronato Takes Oath of Prosecutor’s Office

Toms River resident Joseph D. Coronato is sworn in as the new Ocean County Prosecutor Friday.

Coronato was appointed by Governor Christie to replace Marlene Lynch Ford as the 23rd Ocean Count Prosecutor.

The Lakewood Scoop reports the Toms River courtroom of Judge Vincent Grosso was packed with over 100 Law Enforcement Officials from around the county.

Senator Bob Singer served as Master of Cermonies of the event, and also in attendance from Lakewood, was Attorney Abe Penzer and Deputy Mayor Steven Langert.

Former Ocean County Prosecutor Marlene Lynch Ford is expected to be nominated as Superior Court Judge.
