Representative Tom MacArthur (R-3) this week announced the start of the contest, which is open to any high school student in each Congressional member's district.

The winning artist will be invited to a reception for all winners nationwide, at the Capitol Building in Washington, DC. Additionally, selected pieces will be displayed in the Capitol Building for a full year.

The deadline for submissions is April 25, at MacArthur's district offices in Toms River and Marlton. Art must be original in concept, design and execution, and entered in its original medium - no scanned copies.
