Cause of Eagleswood appliance store fire under investigation
The cause of a fire at Anchor Appliance on Route 9 in Eagleswood Saturday afternoon remains unknown.
No one was injured when flames swept through the building in the West Creek section of the Township shortly before 5 p.m., shutting down a portion of Route 9, according to authorities.
The family-owned store has been in business for nearly 40 years, according to Newsworks.org.
The Eagleswood Volunteer Fire Department thanked all of the mutual fire aid companies that assisted on its Facebook page.
