What is vegan? We hear the term, but what is the actual definition of being vegan? According to the dictionary, vegan means a person who does not eat or use animal products.

So, what do vegans eat? Legumes, nuts, nut butters, seeds, hemp-flax-chia seeds, tofu, plant milks and yogurt, seaweed, nutritional yeast, sprouted and fermented plants, whole grains, cereals, fruits, vegetables, etc.

Although my wife and I are not vegetarian/vegan, we have cut back on our use considerably of animal-based foods & products, especially red meats.
