Of course, there are some fantastic teachers here in New Jersey and there are horrible teachers as well here in the Garden State, like most states in the nation. According to Newsweek, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maryland, New Jersey, and Wisconsin have the best school systems in the United States.

There are 21 counties in New Jersey so obviously when doing a "County by County" awards format for Teachers of the Year, we have 21 recipients to let you know about. NJ.com released this list and we want to share their information with you.

According to NJ.com "The teachers were named during an awards ceremony at The College of New Jersey in Ewing. The 21 recipients of the county honors are now eligible for the New Jersey Teacher of the Year award."
