There are a lot of things to consider when buying anything - price, features, and brand. But, to you, how much does brand matter?

There are some categories where the brand name is more important than anything else. When I think of the consumer category with probably the highest brand loyalty, electronics immediately come to mind; Sony, Apple, Android, Microsoft, etc.

But when it comes to other kinds of consumer goods, like food, does the brand name really matter to you? Is the Uncle Ben's instant rice really all that much different from the store brand instant rice that may be half the price?
