Personally, I enjoy a simple stack of pancakes. Just butter and good maple syrup and I'm a happy camper. Be sure to have a good hot cup of coffee along with those pancakes and while we are at it, maybe 2 strips of bacon. That's my perfect pancake breakfast, simple with no frills. Some folks do love the "frills" and make their pancakes into quite a creation with lots of extra toppings.

In a recent Lovefood article, they examined the best pancakes in America "A stack of warm, syrup-soaked pancakes is always a welcome sight. Our selections are based on genuine user reviews, awards and accolades, and the first-hand experience of our team. They're also regularly checked and updated."

When it came to their selection for us here in the Garden State, Lovefood picked a pancake restaurant that has several locations here in New Jersey and one that has quite a good reputation Brownstone Pancake Factory. "Make sure you take your appetite along when you visit Brownstone Pancake Factory. Established in 1968, this hugely popular spot serves huge buttermilk pancakes and has featured on Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives."
