5 Annoying Gym Habits No One in New Jersey Likes
Working out is difficult enough without these annoying things.
There are some people who truly enjoy going to the gym. I bet most of us do not fall under that category. I know I don't. Those of us who aren't gym lovers want to get in, get our workout done, and get out.
There are some annoying, inconsiderate, or just plain gross behaviors that make the above really difficult to accomplish. We all wish people would stop doing the following 5 things in New Jersey gyms.
Takin the machine right next to someone when plenty are open.
I can't stand when people do this! Free space is a luxury. Why do people want to crowd someone else when there are plenty of other workout machines to use?
Leaving the machine without wiping it down after using it.
How are there people who leave machines without wiping them down, especially after we just got through a pandemic? No one wants to sit on or touch someone else's sweat. Be considerate!
Slamming weights.
There's nothing worse than working out and minding your own business, and hearing heavy weights come crashing down. It skyrockets your already elevated heart rate.
Talking on the phone while working out.
Not only is this annoying for everyone surrounding the offender, but it can't be enjoyable for the person on the other end of the phone either? And how can they have an understandable conversation while getting cardio in?
Not using earbuds or headphones.
One of the most terrible feelings is realizing you got to the gym and left your headphones at home. But, listening to music out loud is annoying and distracting for everyone.
