An Annual Labor Of Love In Point Pleasant Beach

This weekend, rain or shine, hundreds will gather in Point Pleasant Beach to take to the boardwalk for an important cause - to help in the efforts to find a cure for cystic fibrosis.

This Saturday is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's annual Great Strides Walk.

I've been involved with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation since my good friend Kevin succumbed to the disease 9 years ago.

Every year, dozens of friends, family, and assorted supporters have been coming together in Point Beach to remember Kevin and support those who are fighting CF everyday.

We're out there rain or shine, because to many, this is a cause greater than even the weather.
