A NJ Legend Returns – Action Park to Reopen This Summer

When I first heard the news, I thought that it had to be a late April Fool's joke. But no, apparently it's true. With a legend almost as rich as the Jersey Devil himself, a famous (and to some, infamous) New Jersey institution will be returning this summer.

Ladies and gentlemen, Action Park is coming back.

We reminisced about Action Park last summer. But at the time, who would have guessed that plans were in the works to resurrect the legendary water park?

News 12 New Jersey posted an article suspiciously close to April 1st, but apparently it's all true.

Officials say that Action Park will open their doors this Summer with new rides, including an intense new water slide, which park President Bill Benneyan says will,. "...scare the heck out of you."
