The amount of positive Covid-19 coronavirus cases in Ocean County totals 6,268 including 175 new cases with 372 deaths. Lakewood has 1,693 cases 79 deaths. Toms River has 1063 cases/53 deaths. Brick has 811 cases/71 deaths.

Here are the demographics in Ocean County.

Ages 0-18: 136/0

Ages 19-44: 2,064/9

Ages 45-64: 1,996/51

Age 65 and up: 1,681/288

Not reported: 391/24

2,859 women have the coronavirus, 3,318 men have the coronavirus, 91 not reported.

In Monmouth County there are 5,980 cases. Freehold Township has 526, Howell has 491 and Middletown has 431.

There are 489 long-term care facilities with at least one Covid-19 case, for a total of 18,045 cases. In total, there are 3,247 confirmed Covid-19 deaths associated with long-term care facilities.

New Jersey has 168 positive cases across its three veteran homes in Paramus, Vineland and Menlo Park.There are also 102 deaths.

Costco stores had been closing at 6:30 each night but the company says they will return to regular hours May 4th.
