YOU Can Help Local 6th Graders Become Stars for a Night
THIS WILL MAKE YOU SMILE, and you always ask how you can help..here's your chance! Hollywood at Hemingways Saving Seaside's 6th Grade Dance was created for a group of 6th graders who have lost their homes and school to Hurricane Sandy.
Hollywood at Hemingways Saving Seaside's 6th Grade Dance is the last hoorah for this group of kids. There's a red carpet Hollywood theme planned and the kids will be the VIP celebrities! After losing so much, they hope to give these kids a happy memory and some supplies to start next year off right. This event is sponsored by Hurricane Sandy Resource Center and is funded through corporate and community donations.
Hemmingways is donating their venue on June 15th with food and drinks for the event but it's going to be a red carpet experience for these kids! The plan is to give them all great gifts to move on to high school since they have lost everything in the Hurricane. Monetary donations are needed to pay for the decorations and for gifts... They want to give each of the kids a computer for the high school and college years. Also they are looking for Fandango gift cards, restaurant gift cards, Six Flags tickets...anything you can think of that they would enjoy!
There are 21 kids in total!
