Wall Fire Kills Man [PHOTO]

A smoky fire has taken the life of a man in his home on 17th Avenue in Wall.

The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office tells WOBM News that the fire claimed the life of 64 year old Michael Atamantyk who lived alone.

Firefighters were reportedly unable to enter the home right away because of the thick smoke.

The blaze is still under investigation.
