Video: Coast Guard rescues boaters in Millville

Two boaters stranded along the Maurice River in Millville today got a lift back to safety - literally - from the U.S. Coast Guard.

The USCG says the pair were marooned when their boat ran aground. Cumberland County firefighters responded but were prevented from a safe surface rescue by environmental factors, authorities said.

In swooped the chopper, hoisting both men and delivering them to emergency medical technicians at Millville Airport.

The Coast Guard did not indicate the extent of any injuries that either boater might have sustained.
