There are new details about gunfire in Neptune Monday night. There was only one shooting around 9p.m. near Monroe and Whitesvile Avenues, according to the Asbury Park Press.

A spokesman from the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office said two people received non-life threatening injuries. Three people were questioned about what they heard and saw, but no arrests were made.

A separate shooting reported to police earlier that evening by Neptune and Milton Avenues was unfounded, Neptune Police Lt. Michael McGhee told the Asbury Park Press.
