These Little Rubber Bands Are Everywhere!

For the first 5 years I had a Mommy Blog about my daughter Abby’s life and what it was like for me as a first time Mommy.  Well now she’s a  7 year old Diva and I’ve decided to bring back the Mommy Blog.  Her life and what she does is just so funny, it’s too funny not to talk about or write about!  It’s time to share our adventures with you again.

Her name lady bug, monkey, little dill, turtle dove, my heart, boo and anything else I can call her.

These rubber bands are driving me crazy.  They are the rubber bands that you need for this craze right now called the Rainbow Loom.  It's the hottest thing with girls and boys of all ages.  Every house we visit has one, every kid is wearing one and parents and grandparents if they're lucky, they're wearing one!  They come in all different colors, glow in the dark and even tie-dye.

I'm not even kidding you when I tell you, I probably have close to 100 of them in our bathroom and each day she wears several different ones.  Here's the deal these looms are huge now, but I find the kids making these with their hands more then the actual loom.

It brings hours of activity, it's creative and they're fun to wear!  We've even gone to a Rainbow Loom party.  And a helpful tip for dropping those rubber bands on the ground..the dust buster picks them up better then the actual vacuum.
