Leo and Jacklyn are just the sweetest old married couple. Leo, a 10 year old yellow lab, and Jacklyn, a 14 year old Jack Russell, came to us from our Newark facility after the pair were turned in by an owner who could no longer care for them. Can you believe it? At their ages, starting life over again, and having to leave home to come to an unfamiliar place.....it's been rough on the lovable duo. Leo and Jacklyn are making the best of it because hey, at least they still have each other! The pair are very close and we will not separate these two. They've been through enough already, they certainly don't need to lose each other. They are both such mellow, easy going, well behaved dogs that don't ask for much at all. Well, Leo needs a bit of a diet because he's a bit pleasantly plump, but they are very easy dogs otherwise. They get along well with everyone they meet, are housebroken, don't react much to other dogs, and just want to be loved and in a good home. If you can offer them that, come in and meet Leo and Jacklyn.
