Tell Us the Worst Recipes You’ve Ever Seen

Times change, and so do tastes. Sometimes we look back at what passed as appealing cuisine in the past and wonder what the heck we were thinking. What are some of the least appealing recipes and foods that you remember?

I came across this article from BuzzFeed that featured a plethora of nauseating dining choices.

Things like, “Ham and Bananas Hollandaise“, “Liver Sausage Pineapple“, and any number of gelatin permutations.

The thing is – they were totally serious. This wasn’t “let’s put recipes out there and see what we can get people to actually eat”, this was considered classy cuisine at the time.

I’m originally from the Midwest, so you know that I’ve seen almost every conceivable foodstuff jammed into a casserole and called a meal. I want to know some of the things that, looking back, you can’t believe you actually ate. Comment below and let us know!
