Authorities say a teenage boy was injured when he climbed onto the roof of a central New Jersey school and fell through a skylight. The Asbury Park Press reports the 17-year-old boy suffered possible broken bones, but further details on his injuries were not disclosed.

Freehold Township police say the teen and two other youths went to the Dwight D. Eisenhower school on Sunday night. The boy reached the roof by climbing on a power box and a chain link fence, but soon stepped on the plexiglass sky light and fell through to the boys' locker room.

The two other youths called police after hearing a crashing sound.

Officers used access cards to enter the school and found the injured teen, who couldn't pick himself up.
