When a sales team goes to a potential partner with a business proposal, they have to first pitch their product.

It's no different in radio, so we're constantly updating our client presentations; also known as Press Kits (these days, commonly "EPKs", or Electronic Press Kits).

But there were no electronic press kits with impressive color graphics in the 1980s.

That being said, here's a peek into just a few pages of what potential advertisers were presented with when our sales force pitched WOBM in the Reagan years, plus a few newspaper ads too!

With just over a week to go until we hit the big 5-0, there's still time to submit stuff that you may have laying around to be included in our 50 Memories in 50 Days series, but don't hesitate! Just fill out the form below to send it along!

Send Us Your WOBM History!

We're celebrating WOBM's 50th anniversary and we need your help! Do you have a t-shirt, bumper sticker, or other piece of WOBM history? Send us a photo and we'll include it in our look back at 50 years of WOBM radio in Ocean County!
