This is the first of two temperature tumbles this week — the second arctic blast will lead to potentially dangerous cold to start the first weekend of February.
Friday and Saturday will be fairly pleasant across New Jersey, but our next storm system arrives late Sunday, leading to a chance of rain ... and possibly snow.
An area of low pressure will track over New Jersey, producing an extended period of rain, but without the risk of flooding, severe weather, or wintry weather.
The first one will bring rain showers, the second will be even wetter, and the third could drive some wintry weather into New Jersey by the end of next weekend.
