The West Front Bridge connecting Red Bank and Middletown will close for construction Monday, Jan. 5. Be sure to plan an alternate route this weekend, because it won't reopen until about May 17.

Technology is fantastic. These days, most of us have a numbers of cell phones in the household, as well as music players, tablets, cameras, and other gadgets. One of the problems, especially with large families - that's a lot of devices that need to be charged!

Sir Richard Branson's "Virgin" brands have always been known for being quirky and not taking themselves too seriously. From this whimsical in-flight safety video to their interstellar ambitions with Virgin Galactic, they're definitely not a boring company. But this may be their strangest move yet.

Most of us can easily remember times that gas prices were barely above a dollar. In the last few years, however, it's gotten more common to see the numbers sneaking ever closer (and sometimes above) to the $4 a gallon mark. Well you may have noticed in the last few days, that the "3" has been replaced with a "2" at a lot of Ocean County gas stations.

So what did I do during my week in the middle of the woods in the Poconos? I hiked, I fished, I sat by the campfire. And I pretty much just relaxed. But I also took a lot of pictures. Have a look:
