Harry Potter and his wizard pals are some of the most beloved characters of all time. As most know, the series wrapped for good with part 2 of The Deathly Hallows last year...or did it?
In the last few months, there have been a number of highly anticipated young adult book to movie adaptations. Some have fared better than others (at least critically, they've all earned a ton of money). The next saga to pick up the torch is the hugely popular Hunger Games series, which had a star-studded premiere last night in Hollywood.
When popular books are turned into movies, sometimes they can be spectacular triumphs (Harry Potter, anyone?) and other times they can be epic failures (there's a reason we've only seen one Lemony Snicket movie, despite the popularity of the book series).
