PETA has thrown a yellow penalty flag of their own at New York Giants wide-receiver Odell Beckham Jr. who was seen playing catch with a chimp at a zoo in Myrtle Beach.

Saturday, May 19th … The Toms River Police Foundation presents their annual Pros vs. Heroes flag football game in Seaside Heights during the Jersey Shore Festival in Seaside Heights starting at 2 p.m.

What I love about big sporting events is how they bring people together. I love seeing strangers hug and high five each other. I love how happy parents look when they share great sports moments with their excited kids. I love how team chants erupt spontaneously on the street and on commuter trains.

It's gonna be a long couple of weeks for NJ Eagles 'haters'. Here's a look at sports superstition from a newbie fan's view. I.E., "why I can't wear green now."

Here in Ocean County there are a lot of Giants fans, obviously, some Jets fans, and of course some Eagles fans. But there are also others peppered in too.

Billy Cundiff kicked a 32-yard field goal with 8:04 left in overtime and the Jets defeated the Giants 24-21 Saturday night.

If there was any question that the National Football League is concerned with passing, that issue was clarified on Thursday night at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
