I just did some spring cleaning in my closet, pulling out the items I haven't worn in a while, and setting them aside for charity.  I know it's hard to part with clothing, but if it doesn't fit or doesn't really match anything, why not give it away...

Did you hear about the 6000 people who went to the beach in Seaside Heights over the weekend?  They participated in the annual Polar Bear Plunge to benefit New Jersey Special Olympics.  How awesome that they raised $1.7 million!  There were similar events in other parts of the Jersey Shore as well...

As college students spread out across the area for Winter break, there were many lecture halls filled with final exam takers this past week. But one class at Ocean County College had a different kind of exam - to help a local charity.

As we get close to the holidays, and with Veterans Day tomorrow, our thoughts are with the families right here in our community with actively deployed military members.

We told you earlier this week that Santa has arrived at The Ocean County Mall already. If you just can't get enough of the big jolly elf, we have good news for Santa fans - SantaCon 2015 is coming!

As you probably know, our parent company, Townsquare Media, runs a number of radio stations here at the shore. We're one big happy family and try to help each other out when we can. This week, our sister station, 105.7 The Hawk is running their annual "Ocean Of Love Billboard Radiothon".
