Merry Christmas, 'How I Met Your Mother' fans. After months of deliberation and uncertainty over which direction the long-running CBS series would take toward introducing its titular character, 'How I Met Your Mother' is officially taking the long way through season 9. The renewal came as a close call, with Jason Segel's departure all-but-assuring that 'How I Met Your Mother' would end with the current season, but what changed his mind for season 9?

'Two and a Half Men' Update: Angus T. Jones Not Quitting

As much as we'd love for the fallout from Angus T. Jones' religious rant against 'Two and Half Men' to continue on indefinitely, sooner or later an impass would have to be reached. Charlie Sheen can continue commenting on his former cast-mate's outburst, but given Jones' apology yesterday, there aren't likely to be many further developments. To that end, the actor is believed to stay at his 'Two and a Half Men' job for the moment, but will he leave at the end of the season?

On Wednesday, a federal appeals court upheld its previous decision that the Federal Communications Commission acted improperly when it fined CBS for the brief exposure of Janet Jackson’s breast during the 2004 Super Bowl halftime show.
