Scott Katona and his team of Red, Grey and Silver  performed their way to a 2nd place finish at the 2016 West Chester, Pennsylvania Christmas parade.

For the past 3 years, Jackson Liberty took home the “fan favorite” award, and this year was no different, as they wow’d the crowds performing a medley of Holiday Favorites. As a result, the judging panel had Jackson Liberty winning the: Best Overall Music, Best Percussion, and Best Brass and Woodwind awards.

The Best Marching award went to Downington HS of Pennsylvania, and the Best General Effect award went to Easton HS of Pennsylvania, respectively.

“Still keeping the best season ever going! It was a lot of fun, the kids are awesome. It has been a fantastic year,: Scott Katona said,  Freshman  Anthony Dematesis said “I have never seen so many people at a parade. This is fantastic.” Junior  Joe Dematesis said “Liberty Lion Band is winning many, many awards this year. I can’t wait to get started for next year.”
