Chocolate Chip Scones

2 3/4 cup flour
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup cold cubed butter
1/2 cup milk
2 cups mini chocolate chips
2 tsp vanilla
1 tbs baking powder
3/4 tsp salt

-In a mixer, using a paddle attachment, combine flour, salt, sugar, baking powder, and butter (mix until butter forms small pea size balls of dough)
-Stir in chocolate chips
- Whisk together remaining wet ingredients, add to dry mix
- On a floured surface, form dough into a circle and cut using a pizza cutter
-Place scones on a greased pan, and put in the freezer for 15 minutes
- Bake at 425 for 15 minutes or until golden (don't over cook, you want them to be soft and flaky)
