A Marlboro 87-year-old with heart trouble who hasn't been seen since Monday morning in the township remains the focus of a Silver Alert issued by local police.

Herman Rosenblum is descibed as white, 5'11", 220 pounds, with brown eyes, a bald head and a scarred left knee, according to the Monmouth Police, Fire & EMS Facebook page.

He suffers congestive heart failure, wears a pacemaker and maintains a regimen of heart medication to control atrial fibrillation.

He was last seen at about 10:30 AM Monday on Murray Hill Drive in the Greenbriar develeopment. Police say he drives a four-door, grey, 2011 Toyota Avalon with New Jersey plates H38ACD.

Authorities speculate that Rosenblum might have planned to drive to an auto body repair shop in Freehold Borough.
