Say, "Hello," to Nico! He needs a forever home!
This sweet little guy is Nico, a chihuahua mix that is about 7 years old and finds himself in need of a new place to call home. Nico had a home for his whole life but when his owner was moving and couldn't take him along, Nico was brought in to find a new family. Nico has a bit of a sad expression and it's easy to understand why. He didn't plan on having to start over at this point in his life but he's making the best of it and making friends every day. Nico was a bit scared and reserved at first but with a little coaxing and TLC, he came out of his shell and now enjoys getting attention and spending time with our staff. He's easy going and mellow while out for a walk and is eager to check out his new surroundings. Nico is very sweet and loves to be petted and just hang out in your lap. He isn't a fan of lots of noise and would love a more calm and commotion-free home. He is well behaved and housebroken too. Nico gets along just fine with dogs, cats and kids, and would transition quickly and easily into a good home with a great family that will give him all the love and attention that he deserves.
