Seaside Heights Fire Department Plays Huge Role in NBC Pilot

It looks like the Seaside Heights Fire Department might be making its way to your TV Screen!

Filming for the pilot of NBC's new drama 'Emergence' has started - right in our own backyard! In a recent interview, the Seaside Heights Borough Administrator revealed that taping took place last weekend in Island Beach State Park. Additionally, firetrucks from the Seaside Heights Fire Department and trucks from the Tri-Boro First Aid Squad were also used in filming.

This will help set the scene for the pilot - Allison Tolman is playing a Police Chief who finds a child near an accident site, and takes her in. Fans of 'Scrubs' will be excited to learn that Donald Faison will be playing the ex-husband of Allison Tolman's character.
