Scamming the elderly! [VIDEO]

There is a scam going around against the elderly and my Mom was recently a target!

Just this week my Mom, who lives here at the Jersey Shore,  received a phone call that her Grandson ( My Son Zach ) had been arrested and needed $3,000.00 to post bail. The con-artist used my Mothers facebook page to get information and even used her Grandson's "first" name to make the scam seem that much more real ! They asked her to wire the $3,000.00

Bottom line watch the info you post on-line, especially facebook. Also be on the look-out for this type of call saying a grandchild has been arrested, and money needs to be wired...its a scam.

By the way, my Mom contacted me and I then contacted my Son, he was fine and happened to be at Ocean County College getting ready for class! Far cry from jail like the con-artist said ......

Here's an example of the scam which has now hit Ocean and Monmouth Counties
