Remembering John F. Brown

Friends and family of the late New Jersey State Senator John F. Brown will gather this afternoon for a memorial service.

Brown, served in the State Senate, Assembly and various municipal positions in Lakewood including Mayor. Brown's many accomplishments included playing a key role in bringing a lottery to the Garden State.

He passed away in Florida on November 2. The memorial service will be from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. this afternoon at the D’Elia Funeral Home on Vermont Avenue near Route 70 in Lakewood.
