Rumble Strips are planned for a busy accident-plagued roadway in Monmouth County. According to nj.com, electric signs warning drivers to slow down on Kozloski Road In Freehold have been removed to make way for the rumble strips.

County Freeholder Tom Arnone called the move an imperfect, temporary fix until a more permanent solution can be found.

The corridor has been the site of two very serious fatal multi-vehicle accidents this year. In both cases, officials said the driver crossed over the center lane and into oncoming traffic.
