The Asbury Park Press reports that Victoria Anne Tropper, 21, of Marlboro, was run down by a car at Jolene and Fifth Avenues.

Tropper reportedly was a psychology major. The Press reports that students at the university were notified in a message from President Paul R. Brown.

Information provided by the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office indicates that Tropper and another driver had exited their cars after a collision, and that a passing vehicle struck one of them.

Brown is expected to inform classmates of how sympathy can be extended to her family.
