Lovely Lucy is Hoping For Her Forever Home; Pet of the Week

Lucy's been adopted and brought back to the shelter because her owner was moving.

This beautiful girl is Lucy, a 4 1/2 year old calico that has been searching for the perfect home since she was a baby. She came to us way back in February, 2016 when she was just kitten. Lucy got adopted quickly but unfortunately, Lucy was returned to us almost two years later because her owner was moving and couldn't take her along. Lucy was not thrilled to be back in a shelter and she kept to herself for quite a while, but she has since learned to put herself out there, and show the world how incredibly sweet and lovely she can be when you give her a chance! She's a little shy at first, but just give her time to get to know you and you'll see what a doll she is. Lucy tolerates the cats in our free-roaming area, but her ideal home would be one where she's the queen of the castle, and the only cat. After all this time, Lucy sure is deserving of a great home.

The Popcorn Park Zoo is open but the shelter is closed due to Covid-19. Adoptions are always "OPEN" at the Popcorn Park Zoo.
