Looking for The Happy Endings

You would think that since I am a News Reporter that my two favorite televison programs would be news-related but not so. I've really gotten into the new television programs based on fairy tales, like ABC's 'Once Upon A Time' or NBC's 'Grimm" series.

I've been captivated by the story lines and have been waiting for the epic Good verses Evil battles ... complete with all the state-of-the-art special effects of course.

Maybe it boils down to wanting to see good prevail and justice come to those who do evil. Maybe it's just a nice distraction from a day filled with bad news about father's killing their wife or children, seniors getting scammed, life's inequities and economic crises.

Either way I'm simply hooked!

One thing's for certain, I am a hopeless optimist.   I'm always looking for the positive and yes, always looking for the "Happy Endings" in a world where there are so few.
